Mulayam Singh Yadav, SP Patron and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, passed away on Monday. He was in his early eighties. He died at 8:15 am today. Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to Medanta Hospital a few days ago due to a urinary infection, a blood pressure problem and difficulty breathing. He remained in critical condition.
Mulayam Singh Yadav, born on November 22, 1939, was an Indian politician and the founder-patron of the Samajwadi Party. Yadav died on October 10, 2022. He served three non-consecutive terms as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and also served as the Minister of Defence for the Government of India.
He is a long-time parliamentarian and has served as the Member of Parliament from Mainpuri, Azamgarh, and Sambhal constituencies. [3] Party leaders and workers often referred to him as Netaji (meaning respected leader in Hindi).
