In celebration of National Mango Day, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Minister of Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, expressed his admiration for the mango, praising its numerous qualities and nutrients. “Today is National Mango Day. ‘Mango’ is special as it is full of many qualities and nutrients. It is the king of fruits and also of taste,” he remarked.
Chouhan highlighted the global appreciation of Indian mangoes, stating, “Today, the fragrance of Indian mangoes is reaching many countries of the world. The production, export, and trade of mango is increasing continuously.” He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of farmers, offering his best wishes and congratulations to them for their role in making Indian mangoes renowned worldwide.
