NCGG’s Capacity Building Success: Enhancing Governance Across Nations

Under the Ministry of External Affairs’ guidance, the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) has effectively conducted capacity-building programs for civil servants from various countries, including Bangladesh, Tanzania, Gambia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Latin American nations.

MoU with Maldives

On June 8, 2019, NCGG signed an MoU with the Maldives Civil Service Commission to train 1,000 Maldivian civil servants. By 2024, NCGG completed 32 programs, including sessions for high-level officials and specialized training for the Anti-Corruption Commission and the Information Commission Office of Maldives.

Renewal of MoU

On August 9, 2024, the MoU was renewed for another five years. This extension commits to training an additional 1,000 Maldivian civil servants by 2029, focusing on public policy, governance, and field administration.

Commitment to Global Governance

NCGG continues to emphasize citizen-centric governance, service delivery improvements, and digital transformation. Its programs highlight India’s best practices in governance and aim to foster international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
