The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its probe into alleged irregularities in the conduct of NEET UG 2024. Recently, the agency arrested the owner of a private school in Godhra, Gujarat, as part of a wider operation spanning multiple districts including Anand, Kheda, Ahmedabad, and Godhra.

Political Fallout and Parliamentary Adjournment

The NEET UG paper leak issue has sparked political turmoil, leading to protests and disruptions in Parliament. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha sessions have been adjourned till July 1, 2024, following opposition demands for a debate on the matter.
