New Flight Connecting Jaipur And Jodhpur Inaugurated By Jyotiraditya M. Scindia.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, and Minister of State for Civil Aviation, General Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh (Rtd.), inaugurated a new flight connecting Jaipur and Jodhpur virtually today. The new connectivity will boost the already established Golden Triangle Tourist Circuit of Delhi-Agra-Jaipur and strengthen the state of Rajasthan’s civil aviation landscape.

In his address, Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Scindia, emphasized the growth of India’s aviation market and the new terminal building set to be inaugurated soon in Jodhpur at a cost of Rs. 500 crores. The new terminal building, with a capacity of one thousand passengers, will give a big boost to tourism and the local economy.

The ministers also highlighted the significant developments in Rajasthan’s civil aviation sector under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A new airport is being planned for Kota, in addition to the new airports that have been established in Kishangarh, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer. The number of aircraft movements has also increased three times to reach 1530 aircraft movements per week.

The occasion was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, and Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture. This route will be operated by IndiGo under the following schedule, effective from February 2, 2023.
