Adrija Roy, the actress playing the role of Imlie in the new season, spoke about her preparations for the role, the challenges of mastering the village dialect, and her admiration for the original Imlie, Sumbul Touqeer.
Adrija praised Sumbul Touqeer, who portrayed Imlie in the first season, saying, “Well, a few aspects of season 3 are similar to the first season wherein Sumbul Touqeer played the role of Imlie. I really liked her performance in the show, and I watched her perform as my reference point.
It has greatly assisted me in delivering my performances. Fans have indeed noticed the resemblance between Sumbul and me in terms of our attire and appearances. I’m pleased that they pay attention to these subtle aspects. We’ve put in a tremendous amount of effort on the show, and I hope that viewers will show their love and blessings for Season 3 as well.
