In a recent announcement during his visit to Karnataka, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, disclosed the sanctioning of ₹576.22 Crore for the 4-laning of the Yedegowdanahalli to Arjunahalli segment of NH-373 in Hassan district. This ambitious project spans 22.3 kilometers and is aimed at significantly enhancing connectivity in the region.
Highlighting the importance of this corridor, Gadkari emphasized its role as a crucial link to prominent tourist destinations including Chikamagaluru, Belur, Halebeedu, and Shravanabelagola. The upgraded infrastructure promises to not only facilitate smoother travel but also invigorate tourism and bolster economic activities within the area.
