Gaurav Bhatia was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, in 1977. He attended the prestigious St. Joseph’s College in Nainital, where he excelled academically and was awarded the best student of the year award. He went on to study law at the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree.
After completing his education, Mr. Bhatia began his legal career as an associate at Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co. law firm in New Delhi. He later joined Luthra & Luthra law firm, where he worked as a partner for several years. Mr. Bhatia’s practice areas include corporate law, intellectual property law, and media law. He has represented numerous high-profile clients, including Google, Facebook, and Uber.
In addition to his legal career, Mr. Bhatia has been actively involved in Indian politics. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has held several prominent positions within the party.
He has served as the National Spokesperson for the BJP and is currently a member of the Uttar Pradesh BJP State Executive Committee. Mr. Bhatia has also been a vocal advocate for women’s rights, and he has been involved in various initiatives to promote gender equality in India.
