On the 18th of January, Nitin Gadkari pays humble tribute to eminent poet and writer Padma Bhushan “Harivansh Rai Bachchan” on his death anniversary.
Know About Harivansh Rai Bachchan:-
Harivansh Rai Bachchan (27 November 1907 – 18 January 2003) was a Hindi language poet and writer. He was one of the main poets of the post-Chhayawad period of Hindi poetry. His most famous work is Madhushala. Amitabh Bachchan, a famous actor in the Indian film industry, is his son. He died on 18 January 2003 in Mumbai due to respiratory illness.
He taught English at Allahabad University. Later, he was a Hindi expert in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Anantara remained a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha. Chanchan ji is counted among the most popular poets of Hindi.
In the winter months of 2002, his health started deteriorating. In January 2003, he started having trouble breathing. Due to increasing difficulties, he died on 18 January 2003 in Mumbai due to respiratory illness.
