On July 20, 1879, Vasudev Balwant Phadke was captured by the British while he was sleeping in ‘Devarnavadga’ and charged with treason. Vasudev Phadke was born on 7 November 1879 and received his education in Thothawali. Lahuji’s Manavar got a big shock. Avghya Tera Mikayani i.e. on 17 February 1881 Lahuji Salvenchi Pranjyot Malavali and a Mahakranti festival culminated in a hut in the Punyachya Sangampurchaya area.
