The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and PTC India Ltd. have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Research & Development in the Energy Domain. This collaboration aims to advance sustainable development goals within the power sector.
Signed on March 28, 2024, in the Ministry of Power, New Delhi, the MoU was executed by Dr. Tripta Thakur, Director General of NPTI, and Ms. Koel Singhal, Senior Vice President (HR) of PTC India Ltd., representing CMD Dr. Rajib K Mishra. Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, Shri Pankaj Agarwal, graced the occasion.
The CoE will focus on conducting research and development initiatives, with a commitment to disseminate outcomes to the power sector through comprehensive training and capacity-building programs.
