Starting May 1, 2024, nominations for the Padma Awards 2025 have been invited. These prestigious awards, including Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri, will be announced on Republic Day, 2025. The final date for submissions is September 15, 2024.
Padma Awards 2025 Nominations Open: Submission Portal and Criteria
Nominations can be submitted online via the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal (https://awards.gov.in). The awards honor exceptional achievements across various fields such as Art, Literature, Sports, Medicine, and more. Government servants, except doctors and scientists, are ineligible.

The Government aims to make Padma Awards truly reflective of societal excellence. Citizens are encouraged to submit nominations, including self-nominations, especially highlighting those from underrepresented groups and those contributing selflessly to society.
