PM Modi Releases Books Celebrating M. Venkaiah Naidu’s Journey on His 75th Birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the 75th birthday of former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu by releasing three insightful books that chronicle his remarkable life journey. The books, unveiled via video conferencing, include a biography titled “Venkaiah Naidu – Life in Service,” penned by Shri S Nagesh Kumar, and a photo chronicle titled “Celebrating Bharat – Dr. I.V. Subba Rao compiled “Celebrating Bharat – The Mission and Message of Shri M Venkaiah Naidu as 13th Vice-President of India.” Another release was “Mahaneta – Life and Journey of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu,” authored in Telugu by Shri Sanjay Kishore.

Addressing the occasion, PM Modi praised M. Venkaiah Naidu’s 75-year journey, calling it “extraordinary” with numerous significant milestones. He expressed delight in releasing these books, highlighting their potential to inspire future generations and illuminate the path of service to the nation.

Reflecting on his longstanding association with M. Venkaiah Naidu, PM Modi recalled their collaboration spanning various pivotal roles. From their early days together in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to Naidu’s tenure as Vice President and Speaker of the Rajya Sabha, PM Modi acknowledged learning valuable lessons from his esteemed colleague.

PM Modi underscored Venkaiah Naidu’s resilience and commitment during challenging times, such as his role in opposing the Emergency and his impactful leadership in various ministries, including Rural Development and Urban Development.
