He acknowledged the illustrious journey of Param Pujya Ranchhoddasji Maharaj and highlighted the profound social service rendered during a time when the area was largely forested. The Prime Minister noted that institutions established by Param Pujya Ranchhoddasji Maharaj continue to serve humanity, even seven decades later.
Arvind Bhai Mafatlal’s life exemplified the glory of seeking inspiration from saints. He dedicated his life to serving under the guidance of Param Pujya Ranchhoddasji Maharaj. Prime Minister Modi urged all to draw inspiration from his dedication and talent. Shri Arvind Bhai Mafatlal made significant contributions to industry, agriculture, and the revival of the traditional textiles industry. His global recognition reflects his immense contributions.
Prime Minister Modi highlighted the principle of sacrifice and its role in conserving success and wealth. Arvind Bhai Mafatlal embraced this mission, working tirelessly throughout his life. Many institutions, including Shri Sadguru Seva Trust, Mafatlal Foundation, Raghubir Mandir Trust, Shri Ramdas Hanuman ji Trust, J J Group of Hospitals, and Blind People Association, among others, continue to carry forward this ethos of service.
The Prime Minister expressed delight that Sadhguru Netra Chikitsalaya has become a leading eye hospital, with a transformation from a 12-bed hospital to treating 15 lakh patients annually. He commended the Swastha Drishti Samruddh Kashi campaign for its door-to-door screening and treatment of over six lakh people in and around Varanasi.
Prime Minister Modi emphasized the significance of dedication over resources in the realm of service. He recalled Arvind Bhai’s commitment to the tribal belt of Bhiloda and Dahod and described his fervor for service and humility.
Chitrakoot was celebrated as the workplace of Nanaji Deshmukh, whose efforts in serving the tribal society remain a great source of inspiration. India continues to make comprehensive efforts for tribal welfare, celebrating Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas, developing tribal museums, establishing Eklavya Residential Schools, and implementing policy decisions like the Van Sampada Act.
