PM Modi congratulated Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on taking oath as the CM of Himachal Pradesh.

On the 11th of December PM Modi said “Congratulations to Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu Ji on taking oath as Himachal Pradesh CM. I assure you all possible cooperation from the Centre to further the development of Himachal Pradesh”.

At a ceremony attended by senior party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, four-time Congress MLA Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was sworn in as the 15th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.

This marks a generational shift in the state Congress from Virbhadra Singh to Sukhu. Before the oath-taking ceremony, party leaders paid floral tributes to Singh.

At a mega swearing-in ceremony held today at historic ridge ground in Shimla, senior Congress leader Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu took oath as the new Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He was joined by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri in taking the oath. Both were administered the oath by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.
