Dharmendra Pradhan’s Political Journey
Born on June 26, 1969, Dharmendra Pradhan has been the Union Minister of Education since 2021. Previously, he was the Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and held significant roles as the Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and the Minister of Steel.
Education and Early Career
An alumnus of Talcher College and Utkal University, Pradhan’s educational background laid the foundation for his illustrious political career. He was promoted to Cabinet Minister on September 3, 2017, and has since been a key figure in Indian politics.
Current Role and Future Prospects
Currently representing Madhya Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha, Pradhan has also been a member of the 14th Lok Sabha. In March 2024, he was announced as the BJP candidate from the Sambalpur Constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, signaling his ongoing commitment to public service.
