In a significant step towards bolstering the nation’s security and development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a virtual ceremony to distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to recently recruited individuals. Spanning 45 locations, the Rozgar Mela (Job Fair) event marks a momentous occasion as personnel are enlisted into various central armed police forces (CAPFs) and police organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs. These new recruits will assume roles such as Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (General Duty), and Non-General Duty Cadre Posts.
Addressing the Future Guardians of the Nation
During the event, PM Modi congratulated the newly appointed individuals for their selection as “Amrit Rakshak” during the “Amrit Kaal” (auspicious time). He underscored their roles as not only serving but also protecting the country and its citizens, referring to them as the “Amrit Rakshak” of this era.
PM Modi recognized the weight of responsibility that comes with being selected in defense, security, and police forces. He highlighted that the government has been keenly addressing the needs of these forces, including changes in recruitment processes and the relaxation of norms for tribal youth in Naxal-affected areas and border regions.
Contributing to India’s Growth and Development
The Prime Minister emphasized that the growth of various sectors is vital for the overall development of the nation. He discussed the growth potential of industries like pharma, automobile, and food processing, which are poised to create numerous employment opportunities for India’s youth. He pointed out that the expansion of these sectors will contribute to India’s position as one of the world’s top economies.
PM Modi also highlighted the impact of infrastructure development, connectivity, and the hospitality sector on job creation. He mentioned the contributions of the tourism industry, which is projected to contribute significantly to India’s economy by 2030, creating millions of jobs.

Reflecting on the government’s efforts over the past nine years, PM Modi mentioned India’s record exports, growth in production, and increased income for families. He noted the rise of India as a mobile manufacturing hub and expressed confidence in replicating this success in the IT and hardware sectors. The Prime Minister concluded by encouraging the new recruits to utilize the IGOT Karmayogi portal for continuous learning, highlighted the significance of physical fitness, and underscored the importance of practicing yoga as part of their daily lives.
