PM Modi Expresses Grief Over Tragic Road Accident in Ambala

Tragic Road Accident in Ambala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic road accident in Ambala, Haryana, which claimed the lives of at least seven people and injured nearly 25 others. “The road accident in Ambala, Haryana, is deeply distressing. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their loved ones in this accident,” he stated.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway when a truck rammed into a mini-bus carrying around 30 pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh en route to the Vaishno Devi shrine in J&K. Seven members of the same family were killed, and over 25 were injured in the collision.

A survivor reported that the driver of the truck was drunk and fled the scene immediately after the crash. All the bus passengers, who were from the same family, were asleep at the time of the accident.

PM Modi also conveyed his wishes for the quick recovery of the injured. “Along with this, I wish speedy recovery of all the injured. “Under the state government’s supervision, the local administration is actively providing all possible assistance to the victims,” Modi added.

The incident underscores the critical need for road safety measures and the importance of responsible driving to prevent such tragedies.
