PM Modi expressed his hope for Tamang’s longevity and good health, recognizing his significant role in Sikkim’s political arena and his leadership of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM).
Born on 5th February 1968, Prem Singh Golay has been serving as the 6th Chief Minister of Sikkim since 2019. Before establishing the SKM party in 2019, he played a key role in the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) Party and represented constituencies like Upper Burtuk from 2009 to 2019 and Chakung from 1994 to 2009.
PM Modi’s birthday greetings acknowledge Golay’s contributions to Sikkim’s legislative landscape and commend his leadership in the SKM. The warm wishes reflect the camaraderie between national and regional leaders, emphasizing the significance of collaborative governance for the welfare of the people.
