“Kannada Rajyotsava, celebrated on November 1st each year, commemorates the formation of the state of Karnataka. It marks the day when all Kannada-speaking regions of South India were unified to form the state of Karnataka in 1956. The day is an embodiment of the cultural heritage, traditions, and linguistic diversity of the state”.
