In a momentous event in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi inaugurated, dedicated, and laid the foundation stone for a series of development initiatives collectively worth more than Rs 34,000 crores. PM Modi underscored the importance of infrastructure development in transforming the region, mentioning railway projects connecting districts like Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Gazipur, and Prayagraj. Additionally, he praised the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana for its role in improving rural connectivity, with over 5,000 kilometers of roads inaugurated in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Furthermore, PM Modi addressed the concerns of sugarcane farmers, highlighting the government’s efforts to increase MSP and settle pending dues. He also emphasized initiatives in biogas and ethanol production, showcasing the government’s commitment to agricultural advancement and rural prosperity.
