PM Modi Inaugurates ‘Mazdooron Ka Hit Mazdooron ko Samarpit’ Program and Solar Power Plant in MP

The event, held today, witnessed the handing over of a cheque totaling approximately Rs 224 crore, settling the long-standing dues of Hukumchand Mill workers in Indore. Additionally, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for a 60 MW Solar Power Plant in Khargone district, emphasizing the government’s dedication to clean and renewable energy sources.

PM Modi praised the steps taken by the Madhya Pradesh government to restore the former glory of Indore, particularly in the textiles industry. He outlined key projects like the investment corridor between Bhopal and Indore, the Indore Pithampur Economic Corridor, and the multi-modal logistics park, all aimed at generating employment and fostering economic expansion.

Cultural Heritage and Green Initiatives

Highlighting the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh, the Prime Minister cited examples of balanced development in cities like Indore. He mentioned Asia’s largest operational Gobardhan Plant and the development of EV charging infrastructure as instances where progress aligns with environmental sustainability.

Solar Power Plant in Khargone

PM Modi laid the foundation stone for a 60 MW Solar Power Plant in Khargone district, emphasizing the significant cost savings of approximately Rs 4 crores in electricity bills. The usage of Green Bonds to fund the project reflects the government’s commitment to involve the public in environmental conservation.

Government Schemes and Guarantees

‘Modi ki Guarantee’ Vehicle

The Prime Minister assured that the State Government is actively working to fulfill guarantees made during recent elections. He informed me about the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, aimed at saturating government schemes across Madhya Pradesh. Despite initial delays due to the Model Code of Conduct for elections, the yatra has already conducted 600 programs, benefiting lakhs of people.
