On the 25th of December PM Modi paid tributes to the former Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his Jayanti. Shri Modi also shared his thoughts on Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In a tweet, PM said, “Tributes to Atal Ji on his Jayanti. His contribution to India is indelible. His leadership and vision motivate millions of people.”
About Atal Bihari Vajpayee:-
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an Indian politician and statesman who served thrice as the 10th Prime Minister of India, first for a period of 13 days in 1996 and again for a period of 13 months from 1998 to 1999 and thereafter The latter served as prime minister for a full term from 1999 to 2004.
BJP co-founder and senior leader Vajpayee were one of the most prominent figures in Indian politics. He was a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist volunteer organization. He was a famous poet as well as a writer.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was Elected ten times to the Lok Sabha and the lower house, and twice to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a member of the Indian Parliament for more than 50 years.
Also, President Droupadi Murmu paid floral tributes to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India on his birth anniversary at the samadhi of Atal Ji, ‘Sadaiv Atal’ in New Delhi.
