On the 25th of December PM Modi paid his respects to the great son of Mother India, Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya on his birth anniversary. He dedicated his life to the prosperity of the education world of the country, for which he will always be remembered.
About Madan Mohan Malaviya:-
Malviya (12 November 1946 – 25 December 1861), an Indian scholar, educational reformer, and politician, is notable for his role in the Indian independence movement.
He was the founder of the All India Hindu Mahasabha and a four-time President of the Indian National Congress. He was addressed as Pandit, a title of respect, and as Mahamana (Great Soul), which are both titles of respect.
In 1916, Malaviya co-founded the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi, which was created under the 1915 BHU Act, with the goal of promoting modern education among Indians.
With over 40,000 students from arts, commerce, science, engineering, linguistics, rituals, medicine, agriculture, performing arts, law, management, and technology disciplines, it is the largest residential university in Asia All over the world, and one of the largest in the world. He served as the Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University from 1919 to 1938.
