Delhi: Bharat Tex 2024, slated from February 26th to 29th, 2024, marks a milestone in India’s textile industry, presenting one of the largest-ever global textile gatherings in the country. Inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s 5F Vision, the event embodies a unified approach from farm to foreign, spanning fiber, fabric, and fashion, thereby covering the entire textiles value chain.
Organized by a consortium of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the government, Bharat Tex 2024 is designed to promote trade, investment, and sustainability in the textile sector. With a robust agenda encompassing over 65 knowledge sessions featuring more than 100 global panelists, the event aims to address pertinent issues facing the industry.
Highlighting themes of sustainability and circularity, Bharat Tex 2024 will feature dedicated pavilions, an ‘Indi Haat’, and fashion presentations showcasing India’s rich textile heritage and global designs. Interactive fabric testing zones and product demonstrations will further enhance the immersive experience for participants.
Anticipated to draw policymakers, global CEOs, exhibitors, buyers, and business visitors from over 100 countries, Bharat Tex 2024 is poised to be a catalyst for trade and investment in the textile sector. With expectations of over 50 announcements and MoUs, the event is poised to propel India’s textile exports and contribute to the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat championed by Prime Minister Modi.
