On May 9th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the citizens of Karnataka to exercise their right to vote and contribute to the mission of making Karnataka the top state in India. In his address to the people, PM Modi highlighted Karnataka’s potential for growth and development and the BJP’s commitment to the state’s progress.
PM Modi noted the success of the Double Engine BJP government in Karnataka over the last 3.5 years and its decisive, focused, and futuristic policies that are imparting momentum to the growth of Karnataka’s economy despite the coronavirus pandemic. He pointed out that despite the global pandemic, Karnataka has received over Rs 90,000 crores in foreign investments annually under the BJP government, which is three times more than what was received during the previous government’s reign.
“PM Modi stressed the importance of rapid growth in Karnataka to realize its potential and become a $1 trillion economy. He outlined his vision for Karnataka to become India’s Number 1 in investment, industry, innovation, education, employment, entrepreneurship, and agriculture. PM Modi sees Karnataka’s cultural heritage and the many greats that the state has produced as an inspiration for building a modern Karnataka”.
PM Modi believes that the Double Engine BJP government’s decisions to improve connectivity, ease of living, and ease of doing business have laid a strong foundation for Karnataka to become the top state in India. “The BJP government is committed to creating advanced urban infrastructure, upgrading transportation, improving the quality of life in rural and urban areas, and providing new opportunities for women and youth to achieve this goal”.
The rich cultural heritage of Karnataka has always been a source of inspiration not just for the nation but also for me personally. The state has produced many greats like Jagajyothi Basaveshwara, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda, Shri Kanakadasa, and Onake Obavva, among others. Guided by their legacy, the BJP is committed to building a modern Karnataka that would make these legends proud.
PM Modi seeks the blessings of the people of Karnataka and appeals to them to exercise their franchise on May 10 to make Karnataka the Number 1 state, ensuring a bright future for their families, especially the younger generations. He prays for Karnataka’s success and prosperity, and his appeal is for the bright future of Karnataka, which is also the dream of every citizen of the state.
