Prime Minister Modi is set to embark on a comprehensive tour of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh on February 22nd and 23rd, 2024. The packed schedule includes various engagements aimed at inaugurating numerous development projects and fostering regional growth.
In Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi will mark the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), showcasing the resilience of cooperatives and farmers’ determination. His visit to Mahesana and Navsari will witness the dedication and foundation-laying of projects worth over Rs 22,850 crore, spanning sectors like infrastructure, healthcare, and tourism.
Additionally, in Navsari, Prime Minister Modi will kickstart the construction of the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park, contributing to the state’s industrial development. Furthermore, his visit to the Kakrapar Atomic Power Station underscores India’s commitment to clean energy with the dedication of two new Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs).
Turning to Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi’s agenda in Varanasi includes inaugurating projects worth more than Rs 13,000 crore, focusing on road connectivity, industrial development, urban infrastructure, and tourism enhancement. The inauguration of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and a new Medical College underscores efforts to bolster education and healthcare infrastructure.
The Prime Minister will also participate in cultural events, including the commemoration of Sant Guru Ravidas’ birth anniversary and the distribution of prizes for Sanskrit competitions at Banaras Hindu University. His visit to Sant Guru Ravidas Janmasthali temple underscores the government’s commitment to promoting cultural heritage and development in the region.
