PM Modi’s schedule reflected the importance he attached to this accomplishment. He flew directly from Athens, the capital of Greece, to Bengaluru to personally congratulate and interact with the triumphant scientists who played a pivotal role in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. His eagerness to meet the team and convey his appreciation in person underlined the significance of India’s achievements in space exploration.

ISRO Chairman S Somanath, the driving force behind the mission, received PM Modi with warmth. The prime minister extended his gestures of appreciation by patting Somanath’s back and sharing a heartfelt hug, acknowledging the collaborative success of the lunar landing mission.

A group photograph featuring the triumphant team of scientists was also taken, serving as a visual testament to their collective efforts.
