On January 24th at 4 PM, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will interact with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) awardees at his residence, 7 LKM.
The Government of India has been conferring the Prime Minister’s National Child Award to children for their exceptional achievement in six categories namely innovation, social service, academics, sports, art and culture, and heroism. Each award winner is given a medallion, a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh, and a certificate.
This year, 11 children from across the country have been selected for PMRBP-2023 under various categories of Bal Shakti Puraskar. The awardees include six boys and five girls from eleven states and union territories.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister is expected to hear the experiences and aspirations of the awardees, and offer guidance and encouragement to them. He will also take the opportunity to appreciate the role of parents, teachers, and other stakeholders in the development of these children and also emphasize the importance of inculcating good values and character-building among children.
The interaction is also an opportunity for the Prime Minister to reaffirm the government’s commitment to the development and welfare of children in the country and to acknowledge the role of children in shaping the future of India.
