PM’s Arrival at Rani Kamalapati Railway Station
At approximately 10:30 AM, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will arrive at Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, commencing his visit to Madhya Pradesh. This pivotal moment sets the stage for various initiatives aimed at improving connectivity, and healthcare, and honoring historical legacies.
Flagging off Vande Bharat Trains in Bhopal
In Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, the Prime Minister will inaugurate five Vande Bharat Express trains. These trains include the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express. Each train connects different regions, fostering improved connectivity, tourism, and economic growth.
Enhancing Connectivity and Tourism
The introduction of Vande Bharat Express trains will significantly enhance connectivity within Madhya Pradesh and beyond. Tourist destinations such as Bheraghat, Pachmarhi, Satpura, Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho, and Panna will witness improved accessibility, allowing visitors to explore these enchanting locations conveniently. These trains, known for their speed and efficiency, will reduce travel time, enabling a seamless travel experience for commuters and tourists alike.
Launching the Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission
During a public program in Shahdol, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission. This crucial initiative aims to address the health challenges posed by sickle cell disease, especially among tribal populations. By implementing this mission in 278 districts across 17 states, including Madhya Pradesh, the government strives to eliminate sickle cell disease as a public health problem by 2047. The program will mark a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve the healthcare landscape in India.
Distribution of Ayushman Cards: Empowering Healthcare
During the visit, PM Modi will initiate the distribution of around 3.57 crore (AB-PMJAY) Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana cards in Madhya Pradesh. This campaign aims to ensure 100 percent saturation of welfare schemes by reaching out to every beneficiary.
The distribution ceremony for Ayushman cards will be conducted in urban bodies, gram panchayats, and development blocks throughout the state. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing accessible and affordable healthcare to all.
