In response to the devastating fire mishap in Rajkot, Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken swift action to provide relief and support to the affected families. Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the next of kin of each deceased in the tragic incident.
Additionally, the PM Narendra Modi assured that those injured in the fire would receive Rs. 50,000 in compensation. The announcement comes as a gesture of solidarity and assistance to ease the financial burden on the families grappling with the loss of their loved ones and the physical trauma endured by the survivors.
The fire, which broke out in a residential building in Rajkot, resulted in tragic loss of lives and injuries to several individuals. The incident has prompted widespread concern and condolences from across the nation, with efforts underway to extend support and aid to the affected community.
