PM Narendra Modi Marks Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in Kevadia, Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, paying homage to Sardar Patel at the Statue of Unity on his birth anniversary. The event included the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade, featuring contingents from the Border Security Force (BSF) and various state police, a daredevil show by all-women Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Bikers, and more.

Addressing the audience, the Prime Minister emphasized that Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrates the unity of India’s youth and its warriors, creating a “mini India.” He stressed the unifying thread of diversity, comparing it to a garland of beads. The Prime Minister highlighted that October 31st has become a festival of unity across the nation, alongside Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations.

PM Modi acknowledged the next 25 years as crucial for India’s development and called for dedication similar to the pre-Independence era. He recognized India’s growing global prominence in security, economy, science, indigenous defense production, and corporate leadership. He also discussed India’s efforts to preserve its heritage while moving forward, exemplified by the removal of colonial symbols and the abrogation of Article 370.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence in India’s capability to achieve its objectives, emphasizing the demolition of the wall of Article 370. He mentioned the completion of the Sardar Sarovar Dam and the transformation of Kevadia into a global green city. PM Modi urged citizens to stay stable and focused on national goals, highlighting India’s remarkable progress in alleviating poverty.

Regarding internal security, the Prime Minister emphasized measures taken in the last nine years to protect the nation from destructive forces and the need to remain vigilant against threats to national unity. He cautioned against appeasement politics, which endangers the country’s unity.

As elections approach, PM Modi warned against those engaging in anti-social and anti-national activities, urging unity and dedication to building a better future for future generations.
