Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to play a pivotal role in a momentous event on September 26, 2023, as he virtually distributes approximately 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits. The event, which highlights the government’s commitment to employment generation and youth empowerment, will commence at 10:30 AM via video conferencing.
The Rozgar Mela, a multi-location recruitment drive, is slated to take place at 46 locations across the country. The recruitments encompass a wide spectrum of Central Government Departments as well as State Governments/UTs that are actively participating in this transformative initiative.
These new recruits, drawn from diverse regions of the country, will assume positions in various Ministries and Departments, including the Department of Posts, Indian Audit & Accounts Department, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, among others.
The Rozgar Mela serves as a critical step in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing employment generation and fostering youth empowerment. This initiative is poised to catalyze further employment opportunities, providing a meaningful platform for young individuals to actively participate in national development.
In addition to their appointments, the newly inducted recruits will also have the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge through the Karmayogi Prarambh program. This online module, accessible via the iGOT Karmayogi portal, offers more than 680 e-learning courses designed for “anywhere, any device” learning, further equipping them for their roles in government service.
