On 13th December, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to undertake a significant tour focused on both spiritual practices and development initiatives. The visit will begin with a pooja and darshan at Sangam Nose at 12:15 PM, followed by a series of other religious observances. These include performing pooja at the Akshay Vata Vriksh & visiting Hanuman Mandir and Saraswati Koop around 12:40 PM.
At approximately 1:30 PM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Mahakumbh exhibition site for a walkthrough, showcasing the preparations for the grand event. Following this, he will inaugurate several major development projects at 2 PM, valued at over Rs 6670 crore.
These projects will be pivotal for the upcoming Mahakumbh 2025, with key infrastructure developments such as new Road Over Bridges (RoBs), flyovers, permanent ghats, and riverfront roads aimed at improving connectivity and ease of access for devotees.
As part of his vision for a cleaner Ganga, Modi will inaugurate projects that address the interception and treatment of minor drains, ensuring zero untreated water discharge into the river.
Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate various temple corridors, including those at Bharadwaj Ashram, Shringverpur Dham, and Akshayvat, which will improve accessibility and promote spiritual tourism in the region. A major highlight of the visit will be the launch of the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak chatbot, designed to provide real-time guidance and updates to devotees attending Mahakumbh Mela 2025.
Through these initiatives, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is underscoring his commitment to both the spiritual legacy of Prayagraj and the region’s infrastructural growth.
