PM of Mauritius Meets Indian President at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Today, June 10, 2024, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, paid a visit to the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan. During their meeting, President Murmu fondly recalled her successful state visit to Mauritius in March earlier this year, where she served as the Chief Guest for the National Day celebrations and engaged with Mauritian leadership and citizens.

President Murmu emphasized the strategic importance of Mauritius as a maritime partner for India in the Indian Ocean Region, aligning with Vision SAGAR and India’s commitment to promoting peace, security, and growth in the region.

Both leaders expressed contentment with the substantial advancements made across diverse sectors of bilateral cooperation.
