On the 21st of February PM Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister urged all, particularly youngsters, to participate in the Best Tourism Village Competition. The Best Tourism Village Competition is being launched by the Ministry of Tourism.
The purpose of this competition is to recognize and celebrate the villages that maintain and showcase their local art, culture, and way of life.
The Prime Minister tweeted in response to a tweet thread by the Ministry of Tourism:
“I urge you all, particularly youngsters to take part in this unique endeavor to showcase India’s great tourism potential”.
