Actor Prateik Babbar recently turned heads at the screening of his late mother Smita Patil’s film “Manthan.” He wore a unique suit crafted from his mother’s Kanjeevaram sarees.
The striking outfit featured a double-breasted tuxedo in plain black silk, with pinstripe-patterned wide-legged pants made from one saree. The red border of another saree adorned the sleeves, adding elegance to the ensemble.
Designer Rahul Vijay created this unforgettable outfit and shared visuals and details of the design process on social media, along with a heartfelt message for Prateik.
Prateik was accompanied by his partner, Priya Banerjee, who also wore Smita Patil’s saree and jewelry, adding a personal touch to the event. Attendees included Naseeruddin Shah and his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, Dr. Kurien’s daughter Nirmala Kurien & Amul MD Jayen Mehta.
