The President expressed her satisfaction with the scale and scope of the trade show, highlighting its role in establishing a robust platform for manufacturers and entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh to expand their reach nationally and internationally. This event is not only a showcase of products but also a testament to the state’s economic potential and its ability to connect with global markets.

The state’s rapid economic progress, attributed to simplified investment processes, ease of doing business, and accelerated infrastructure development, has positioned Uttar Pradesh among the fastest-growing state-level economies in the country”.

“Furthermore, the President pointed out that Uttar Pradesh boasts over 96 lakh Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), ranking first among all Indian states in this regard. Despite being landlocked, the state’s exports have shown remarkable growth, nearly doubling from around Rs. 88,000 crore in 2017-18 to approximately Rs. 1,75,000 crore in 2022-23”.

The President also highlighted the alignment of the trade show’s goals with international priorities, particularly those of the G20.
