Digital Commerce Empowers Farmer Producer Organisations
Acknowledging the importance of technology in modern agriculture, 1600 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) were onboarded onto the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This digital platform enables farmers to access markets from any part of the country, fostering transparency and facilitating fair pricing for their produce.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi – A Lifeline for Farmers
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, the Prime Minister released the 14th installment amount of approximately Rs 17,000 crores to over 8.5 crore beneficiaries. This direct transfer of funds into the bank accounts of farmers has been instrumental in easing their financial burdens and supporting agricultural activities.
Boosting Healthcare Infrastructure – New Medical Colleges Inaugurated
