Prime Minister Modi pays homage to Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his Punya Tithi.

On the 16th of August, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi today pays homage to above Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his Punya Tithi”. In a tweet, PM Modi said, “I accompany the 140 crore bodies of India in advantageous admiration to the arresting Atal on his Punya Tithi. India benefitted abundantly from his leadership. Atal Bihari Vajpayee played a cardinal role in advocacy of our nation’s advance.”

Vajpayee served as the Prime Minister of India for three terms, from 1996 to 1996 for 13 days, from 1998 to 1999, and from 1999 to 2004. He was a well-respected leader who is credited with playing a key role in modernizing India and strengthening its relations with other countries. Vajpayee was also a great orator and poet.

PM Modi said that Vajpayee was a “visionary leader” who “left a lasting legacy”. He said that Vajpayee’s “leadership will continue to inspire us for generations to come”.

Vajpayee’s death in 2018 was mourned by people all over India and the world. He was a true statesman who will be remembered for his many contributions to India.
