Prime Minister Modi to Distribute Over 51,000 Appointment Letters to New Recruits

On October 28, 2023, at 1 PM, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will oversee a momentous event where he will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits through a virtual conferencing platform. This initiative reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to promoting employment opportunities and empowering the youth of the nation.

The distribution of appointment letters is not limited to a single location but extends to a nationwide scale. A Rozgar Mela (employment fair) is scheduled to take place at 37 locations across the country, offering opportunities for fresh recruits. These appointments are being made across Central Government Departments as well as State Governments and Union Territories that support this commendable initiative.

The new recruits, carefully selected from diverse regions of the country, will be joining various Ministries and Departments, including but not limited to the Ministry of Railways, Department of Posts, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This distribution of appointment letters reflects the government’s dedication to fostering growth and providing meaningful employment avenues.

The Rozgar Mela is a significant step towards realizing the Prime Minister’s commitment to giving the highest priority to employment generation. This event is poised to act as a catalyst for further employment opportunities and will empower the youth, enabling their active participation in the nation’s development.

In addition to the distribution of appointment letters, the newly inducted appointees are also being offered a valuable opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge through the Karmayogi Prarambh initiative. This program, accessible through the iGOT Karmayogi portal, offers more than 750 e-learning courses. These courses are designed for ‘anywhere, any device’ learning, enabling recruits to acquire essential skills and knowledge, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles within the government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s distribution of appointment letters and the associated Rozgar Mela highlight the government’s unwavering commitment to providing employment opportunities and empowering the nation’s youth. This initiative emphasizes the government’s dedication to fostering national development and supporting the aspirations of the country’s young workforce.
