Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit to Maharashtra and Rajasthan

On 25th August, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jalgaon, Maharashtra, to participate in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan at 11:15 AM. During the event, he will felicitate 11 lakh newly recognized Lakhpati Didis and interact with them, celebrating their success under the NDA Government’s initiative.

Major Financial Initiatives for SHGs

In Jalgaon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a Revolving Fund of ₹2,500 crore, benefiting 48 lakh members of 4.3 lakh Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Additionally, he will disburse a ₹5,000 crore bank loan, assisting 25.8 lakh members of 2.35 lakh SHGs. These measures are part of the ongoing efforts to empower women through the Lakhpati Didi Yojana.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana’s Success and Future Goals

The Lakhpati Didi Yojana has already uplifted one crore women to become Lakhpati Didis since its inception. The government’s ambitious target is to extend this success to 3 crore women, ensuring financial independence and empowerment across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rajasthan High Court’s Platinum Jubilee

Later in the day, at 4:30 PM, PM Modi will be the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur. He will also inaugurate the Rajasthan High Court Museum, marking a significant milestone in the state’s judicial history.
