Priyanka Chopra shared a post expressing her grief, saying, ”Even after a week, the pain and suffering of the people of Turkey and Syria due to the devastating earthquake continues. During the ongoing rescue operation, a glimmer of hope emerged when a 3-month-old baby was pulled from the debris.
Waiting and hoping to be saved, with their families praying for a miracle, many people are still trapped. This is heartbreaking. No one is spared by nature, however, we can all help. My highlights contain details of organizations working at the grassroots level. I hope you will help in whatever way you can.”
The earthquake that occurred on February 6 in Turkey & Syria caused havoc. Earlier there was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake & which was followed by 7.5 magnitude tremors, both of which created a scene of devastation in the countries. So far 36 thousand people have died in these two countries & about 80 thousand people are injured, whose number may also increase. At the same time, the rescue operation is still going on to save thousands of lives trapped in the debris.
