Rajnath Singh to Visit Malaysia, Strengthening Defense Ties

On July 10-11, 2023, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, the Defense Minister of India, will embark on an official visit to Malaysia. This visit aims to further consolidate the bilateral defense cooperation and enhance the strategic partnership between the two nations. During the visit, Shri Rajnath Singh will engage in bilateral talks with his counterpart, Defense Minister Mr. Dato’ Seri Mohamad Hasan, to review the existing defense cooperation and explore new initiatives that will foster stronger engagement.

Consolidating Bilateral Defense Cooperation

During the bilateral talks between Shri Rajnath Singh and Defense Minister Mr. Dato’ Seri Mohamad Hasan, both leaders will take stock of the defense cooperation between India and Malaysia. They will assess the progress made in various areas of collaboration, such as joint military exercises, information sharing, and capacity-building initiatives. The review will provide an opportunity to identify areas of success and explore avenues for further growth and mutual benefit.
