Ram Mandir’s 44 doors symbolize devotional harmony, yet devotees will enter through a single entrance

Ayodhya – Ram Mandir: In the pursuit of grandeur, Ramlala’s temple transcends mere divinity, sprawling over 70.5 acres adorned with 44 gates, a testament to architectural magnificence. Among them, 18 gates boast doors, with 14 adorned in gold, exemplifying meticulous attention to detail. The temple’s grandiosity, however, is paralleled by a commitment to devotee convenience.

Engineers involved in the Mandir’s design reveal that the ground floor doors, crafted by a Hyderabad company, radiate splendor with varnishing. Three distinct paths—Ramjanmabhoomi, Bhakti, and Ram—enrich the pilgrimage experience. Despite the opulence, all devotees will enter through a single gate, emphasizing accessibility.

In tandem with the Ram Mandir’s Majesty, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust ensures convenience by constructing a facility adjacent to Gateway 2 of Sugriv Fort. Pilgrims will access the temple through Sugriv Fort, with entry facilitated through the gate in front of Birla Dharamshala.

Traditionally inspired by the spatial design of ancient temples, two 35-feet high gateways have been erected 600 meters before the birthplace perimeter. Upon entering, a 75-feet wide road with footpaths on both sides guides pilgrims towards the temple. The path, adorned with sandstone flooring and nine canopies, leads to a facility center, equipped with bag scanners featuring 16 counters.

Devotees will follow this meticulously crafted path, reaching behind Amava Temple and eventually finding their way to the revered Ram Mandir. The careful intertwining of architectural opulence and devotee accessibility marks the essence of the forthcoming marvel in Ayodhya.
