The box office collections for Akshay Kumar’s film Ram Setu are going down each day, which is not a good sign. On Friday, the movie’s attendance dropped by 25 percent, which isn’t exactly a healthy trend for a film of this budget and star cast.
Given that the film isn’t getting any sort of support from the metro audience, these are low numbers for Ram Setu given the Diwali weekend. The success of the film to date is due to the Diwali holidays and the mass audience. The holiday factor is going down and the numbers are seeing a steep fall.
It is now unlikely that a double-digit will occur on either Saturday or Sunday, as the film is not seeing big gains over the weekend based on the current trend. The drop on Friday has put a full stop to the chances of the film hitting a century at the box office, but it’s not all over yet. The word of mouth is mixed to negative, which is leading to a decrease in numbers.
