Ram Setu’s Box office collection for Day 2: Akshay Kumar’s film managed to mint good numbers.

Ram Setu, starring Akshay Kumar, had a good start at the box office on October 25. The film collected Rs 15.25 crore on its opening day, as expected. This year, not only did Ram Setu become Akshay’s best opening film, but it also outperformed Bachchan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, and Raksha Bandhan at the box office. The film continued to do well on Day 2.

Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s Thank God, which also released on October 25, gave Ram Setu a tough fight. The Akshay Kumar-starrer did well in theatres largely due to the Diwali fervour. Ram Setu’s Day 2 business was good despite mixed reviews. Early trade reports suggest that on October 26 it added another Rs 10.60 crore to its collection. The total box office collection is now Rs 25.85 crore. Ram Setu has successfully managed to earn more than Thank God has. Interestingly, the film looks quite promising with these numbers, after Ram Setu also bagged the second-biggest opening of the year.
