Actor Rani Mukerji is set to release her autobiography on her birthday, March 21, 2023. Rani’s memoir will be an inspiring, deeply personal, and disarmingly honest account of her journey.
“In the tweenty five years I have spent in the Indian film industry,” Rani said, “I have never spoken my heart out about my life and my journey in cinema. The book delves into my personal trials and tribulations and the impact it had on me as I navigated the industry and my career, something that is relatable to many women in cinema who are constantly judged.
I haven’t had the time to pause, look back on my life, and reflect on it introspectively. I wrote this memoir as a way to reminisce about what I have been through since childhood. This is for my fans and for everyone who has given me so much love and support.
I am looking forward to their reactions when this book releases on my birthday next year, making the day even more special. Harper Collins India will publish the book.
When she was just 16, Rani made her acting debut in 1996 with Bengali film Biyer Phool. She has acted in several films since she later appeared in Hindi film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat in the same year. She will now be seen in “Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway,” which revolves around a journey of a mother’s battle towards an entire country. Ghulam, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” Badal, Bichhoo, Saathiya, Yuva, Hum Tum, Bunty Aur Babli 2, “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” and Mardani , chori chori chupke chupke among different others.
