Online Auction: Rashtrapati Bhavan is set to auction a selection of gifts presented to the President and former Presidents through an online platform called E-Upahaar. Launched by President Droupadi Murmu on July 25, 2024, to mark two years of her presidency, this initiative aims to engage citizens and support a noble cause.
Online Auction: First Phase of Auction
The inaugural phase will feature approximately 250 exclusive gifts, with bidding open from August 5 to August 26, 2024. Following the auction, items will be delivered to the highest bidders. To participate, interested individuals should visit E-Upahaar, complete their profile, undergo Aadhar verification, and place their bids.
Supporting a Noble Cause
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to help children in need, reflecting the initiative’s commitment to social welfare. This endeavor not only enhances public engagement but also contributes to a significant charitable cause.
Public Viewing
Gift items will be available for public viewing at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum. Tickets can be booked through Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing visitors to explore the historical exhibits.
