Mary Carter
Mary Carter retired as a partner at KPMG in 2008. With a background as a qualified Solicitor, she practiced law until 1987. Following that, she specialized in executive pay and incentive arrangements for over two decades, providing advisory services in cash and share-based compensation. Her expertise extends to various related areas such as remuneration reviews, total compensation benchmarking, tax considerations, legal and regulatory matters, and financial and accounting aspects. After retiring, Mary Carter served as a member of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body for six years and as a member of the National Assembly of Wales Remuneration Board for five years. From 2013 to 2020, she actedFrom 2013 to 2020, she served as a Lay Adviser on the Strategic Management Board of the Avon and Somerset Multi-Agency Public Protection Agencies (MAPPA).
